After a long day, with your patience juice all used up, have you ever come home and lost your temper on those you love most?
I have.
What if you could stop yelling at your kids?
You can. I mean, really, it’s possible.
Let us show you how.
This is the first of many “Let’s See Some BEARs” podcasts where we take a specific topic and run BEAR models on it.
PS: Towards the end, I share a time when I didn’t show up as the deliberate dad I wanted to be, and what Brittany said that completely changed how I parent ever since.
If you have any items from one of your current or future BEAR models that you want us to run (one Belief from your thought download, an Emotion, Action or Result), contact us or schedule a free coaching session with a certified coach.
We can leave you completely anonymous, but still address the struggle you want to solve or result you want to reach.
This is the final in the series and is a continuation from part 1 (Ep. 9), part 2 (Ep. 10), part 3 (Ep. 11) and part 4 (Ep. 12)
Actions:
Action: Begin step 5 of 5 by doing a Thought Download
Action: Completed step 5 of 5 by running a BEAR model
Bonus action: Click Here to schedule a FREE 30-minute coaching mini session to review your BEAR model and get coached by Brittany. Note: this was recorded in April 2019, and we’ll soon switch to group open calls to meet the demand. If you can’t find a time or the one-on-one free coaching sessions is no longer available, please join one of the group “Ask Brittany Anything” calls.
Running BEAR models is how you inspire and equip yourself to get the results you want.

And no, it’s not technically the manager. It’s not even the pay.
After thousands of real life exit interviews from my experience at a fortune 100 company with 130,000 employees, along with 15 years of research, we’ll share the real reason…so you know how to retain your top talent.
The real reason is NOT what YOU think, it’s what THEY are thinking in their own brain.
They leave because of their BELIEFS about their manager, or their BELIEFS about any aspect of the job that makes them feel an emotion they don’t like…so they want to leave to feel better, thinking that changing the circumstance is the best alternative.
The BEAR model works every time!
How Sarah (the employee in the example) BEARs Up
Note: you should only have one BELIEF and one Emotion is each BEAR model. Image above combines multiple separate BEAR models into one view for illustration purposes only.
